Scales and cadences could be compared to grammar: not always popular but absolutely necessary.
No matter whether you want to discover a wonderful new hobby or brush up on your former knowledge, whether you want to study music or participate in musical soirèes – good technical abilities and an individual style are absolutely essential.
As a trained pianist I enable you to reach your aims by giving intensive and interesting lessons. You can start as complete beginner or also embroaden your pianistic abilities.
The focus is on your technique to form a basis but also on the acquirement of suitable literature according to your wishes. You get of course a free trial-lesson and can choose between a duration of 45 or 60 minutes. This offer also applies for children and teenagers.
I’m absolutely no stranger to the feared but equally important stage fright because I regularly perform in various concerts (see “next concerts and activities” ). Therefore I know well what I am talking about. Sensitive lessons, in step with actual practice, are the best way to overcome the possible difficulties of piano playing, such as the demo-effect, the ups and downs of practising, the special problems of sight-reading, playing by heart etc.
On request I organise private concerts which which allow my students to become aquainted with their fellow students and to perform in a nice and easy athmosphere. The pieces you worked on hard need to be presented! It’s not only important to master a random piece of any composer, it’s much more important to experience it by mind and soul and to share that feeling with your audience.
One of my aims is therefore also to convey that skill.
